Theme Announced: Some of Their Parts

We've just wrapped up the selection process and decided on a theme for this season's vernissage.
The exhibition is "Some of Their Parts", a reflection on different views of the body in art by several artists (thus the play on words).

Please come and see it to learn more on November 11, 6-9pm. There is some fantastic art!

Haven't gotten your FDG fix in a while? Been missing us? Well here's the latest...


We are working hard putting together the upcoming vernissage.
Artists, you will be notified in the upcoming week about your submissions. We received almost triple the submissions that we have in the past!! Excellent news. Not only that but the quality of work was outstanding throughout. Needless to say it is taking us a little longer to sort through...

Keep your eyes peeled for posters and flyers for the vernissage. Right now we can tell you it will be NOVEMBER 11 from 6-9pm. And yes, there will be wine and snacks. A special surprise musical guest will be making an appearance as well. We are asking for a small donation this year in order to ensure the Fridge Door Gallery can continue and expand. So please throw us a couple dollars!

Meeting Today!

This is just to remind everyone there will be a meeting this evening, Tuesday Oct. 7, at 5:30 in the gallery space.

We will be discussing many things including details about committees, FAC proposal, and the upcoming fundraiser...as well as all the other silliness that happens at FDG.

The Fridge Door is still new on the scene at McGill and working hard to establish its space there and gain recognition. So if you like what we do, please show your support by writing an article or just spreading the word. Tell your friends! We will repay you with art, wine, snacks and as always a really good party!!!

FDG is now accepting submissions for the November vernissage! We are trying to expand the Fridge Door experience so think outside the box! Installations, performance, short films, painting, photography, mixed media are all accepted.
