We welcome submissions from McGill students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all Faculties. We accept submissions in a variety of different media, for example (but not limited to) painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, and video art.
Requirements
You can submit up to 5 works per semester.
The following information is required for your submission to be considered:
❧ JPEG file of the work(s) (no links please!)
❧ Title of the work
❧ Year of production
❧ Medium❧ Dimensions in inches
❧ Year and program (ie. U2 Engineering)
❧ A max. 200-word artist statement

Selection process
All submissions are reviewed by Fridge Door Gallery executives and volunteer curators shortly after the submission deadline. All artists who submit get a response from us following the selection meeting, whether or not their work was accepted.
If one or several of your works are accepted, you will receive detailed information about when and where to drop off your work. We also have you sign an artist contract when you drop off your work for the exhibition.
If your works are not accepted, please do not be discouraged. Due to space restrictions, we are only able to accept 15-20 works per semester. Should you wish to re-submit (either the same works, or other ones), we will welcome submissions from you the next semester!
